neuroaxonal dystrophy - a newly discovered disease

Our breed has been facing a neurological disease since our foundation and it has recently come to light as a serious concern. Purdue University has been conducting research on affected and non-affected dogs to possibly isolate a genetic marker for this life-shortening disease. The following document was shared in December 2022 by the breed parent club's health and genetics committee regarding the neurological disease.
